Is CBD use common?

Throughout history, many cultures have used different varieties of the cannabis plant for their traditional wellness practices. However, as laws evolved and distinctions between CBD vs THC were misunderstood, the use of cannabinoids became heavily restricted and less accepted by the public. This led to confusion around what CBD is, how it works, and whether it could be used as part of everyday wellness.
In recent years, both the scientific community and the wellness industry have increasingly explored the properties of CBD and other cannabinoids. As education has grown and research has expanded, public perception has shifted. Today, more people are recognizing CBD use as a mainstream part of modern wellness routines, and hemp-derived CBD products are becoming more widely available across the country.
The passage of the 2018 Farm Bill played a major role in expanding access to hemp-derived CBD products in the United States. By legalizing industrial hemp containing less than 0.3% THC, the Farm Bill helped open the door for the growth of the CBD industry and increased consumer confidence. As a result, CBD acceptance and awareness continue to rise as more individuals seek plant-based wellness alternatives.
